This new exhibition comes in two parts and focuses on the creeping steps taken in Nazi Germany that began with the gassing of the mentally ill and ended in genocide. The first part consists of six delicately coloured pencil drawings which show the outsides of the hospitals in Germany and Austria where the T4 Euthanasia programme took place between 1939 and 1941. This action resulted in over 70,000 deaths and marks the only period in history when doctors and nurses have worked with a deliberate policy to end the lives of those in their care.

The second part of this exhibition consists of five large scale oil paintings and begins with a depiction of the interior of the Bernburg mental hospital shower room. The paintings which follow trace a movement taken by the Nazis away from pretence towards an industrialised killing process.
